PB Cosmetology will begin major renovations to the salon, skin care studio, classrooms, and offices at the end of this month. The newly designed space was created by interior designer Denisa Ramirez of Salon Equipment USA. The new school salon is well planned to accommodate the 140 Cosmetology students that graduate each year. The goal was not only to have gorgeous new seating and client stations but to maximize productivity for the 47 stylists that work on the salon floor each day. The new salon will have a fashionable and contemporary feel with hardwood floors, travertine marble and crystal chandeliers. A make-up station and wax bar will accommodate the large number of prom clients and bridal parties that the school services. Renovations to the skin care studio and classrooms will include computer kiosks to document client information, smart boards, and lap top accessibility. The new color scheme will have soft modern colors throughout. After renovations are complete PB will host a grand re-opening this winter.
