Prom Style Show 2018
This year’s Prom Style Show event will be held at the school on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 12pm. Students will model gently used gowns and dresses that are donated. Most gowns are donated by area high school and college students. Some gowns are new and are donated by local bridal salons and dress boutiques. All dresses will be sold for $20 and the proceeds benefit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The 2017 event raised $575 for the charity. We are currently accepting dress donations. To donate please contact Ginny Jared at (856) 456-4927 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cosmetology students do a great job of styling the model’s hair to coordinate with the dresses. Students learn what it is like to work in a professional fashion show and take great pride in showing of their newly acquired skill set.
Prom goers can make an appointment in PB’s student salon to have their hair and makeup done professionally the day of their prom. The salon package includes a formal design and makeup for $50. Upgrades to the package include false eyelash application and spray tanning. These upgrades are priced separately. All of the beauty services are performed by senior cosmetology students under the supervision of licensed NJ Educators. The pricing on the salon package doesn’t expire until June 30th so students can also use the special for upcoming award ceremonies and graduation parties. To make an appointment please call the Student Salon at (856) 456-4927. Certain dates are already very limited! The salon will not do extensions or work with artificial hair. Flowers, tiaras, hair gems and jewelry are welcomed!
